The Red Hat Global Benefits Team is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support a wide range of benefits-related projects. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic field of employee benefits working alongside experienced professionals in a global environment. Red Hats Intern Program is a collaborative effort between the Emerging Talent team and our intern managers. The program is designed to offer a meaningful and well-rounded experience combining professional development networking opportunities social engagement and impactful work. This is a paid internship based in our Brno office typically lasting 12 months with the possibility to extend up to 24 months. Interns work on average 20 hours per week with flexible working hours and the expected start date is February 1st.
What You Will Do
As a Benefits Intern you will have the opportunity to contribute to key projects and learn about the core functions of a global benefits team. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the program management of leave and absence programs including statutory and company leaves. You will help with data analysis documentation project support and responding to associate inquiries.
Support the design and implementation of regional and country-specific benefits programs and portfolios consistent with Red Hats overall rewards philosophy and People strategy.
Support the implementation of a global benefits platform including performing user acceptance testing (UAT).
Vendor Management: Learning about the process of managing relationships with benefits vendors. You will assist in organising vendor information and supporting new vendor onboarding.
Review and update the supplier contracts inventory requesting new documents where needed and supporting the signature process.
Contribute to the development and distribution of benefits-related communications for associates. This will involve drafting content proofreading materials and helping to update our internal benefits information.
Partner with our People Service Delivery team to support the development and implementation of efficient and scalable delivery processes.
Supporting the team in collecting and analysing benefits market data to assist with benchmarking and market trend analysis. You will help organise data and prepare reports to inform our benefits strategy.
What you will bring
You must be enrolled in a Czech university (Bachelors 3rd/4th year or Masters) for the full internship duration and be able to work full-time within 2 years.
Working knowledge of written and spoken English
An interest in Employee Benefits and Human Resources.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint).
High level of attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
