We are looking for passionate community focused people to join our ACT team today as Personal Bankers! We have branches located in Belconnen Tuggeranong Gungahlin Woden and Canberra City (Civic).

In the first 6 months you will:

• Leverage Customer Service Experience: Utilise your background in customer service retail sales and/or banking to excel in your role.
• Commit to Success: Demonstrate a strong work ethic and dedication to achieving excellence.
• Solve Problems Effectively: Apply your excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to tackle complex issues.
• Build Lasting Relationships: Foster lasting customer relationships and serve the local community with enthusiasm. Learning to describe products and match them to customer needs.
• Achieve Sales Targets: Excel in achieving individual performance targets by mastering scorecards across key areas such as member satisfaction engagement sales and more.
• Complete Operational Tasks & Display Technical Skills: Perform teller transactions manage daily balancing set up payments and limit increases open/close accounts assist with digital banking and handle deceased estate requests in line with policy.

• Demonstrated experience in customer service environment retail sales and/or banking.
• Commitment to success and a strong work ethic
• Eager to learn and bring a positive growth mindset to developing new skills
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• A passion for building lasting customer relationships and serving the local community.
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets in a retail or banking environment.
• Banking or financial services experience desirable but not essential.

Reporting to the Branch Manager you will be joining the Canberra Branch Network a group of dedicated professionals who work tirelessly to provide exceptional support to our customers. Whether you are working face-to-face or over the phone you will be committed to ensuring that our customers receive the best possible experience with their banking needs.

What does our recruitment process look like
