Personal Injury Legal Assistant / Junior Legal Assistant

Grainger Legal is a well-established regional law firm with offices across Bacchus Marsh and Castlemaine. We are recognised for our client-focused approach collaborative team culture and commitment to delivering strong outcomes for our clients.
We are currently seeking an experienced Personal Injury Legal Assistant / Junior Legal Assistant to join our Personal Injury team on a full-time basis at our Bacchus Marsh office.
About the Role
This role will support our personal injury lawyers across a busy and varied practice including TAC and WorkCover matters. You will play a key role in managing files supporting lawyers and ensuring clients receive clear timely and compassionate service throughout their matter.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing administrative and legal support to personal injury lawyers
- Managing files from opening through to resolution
- Preparing correspondence court documents and briefs
- Liaising with clients barristers medical providers and other stakeholders
- Managing diaries appointments and key deadlines
- Maintaining accurate file notes and records in the practice management system
- Assisting with billing invoicing and general matter administration
About You
- Minimum 2 years experience as a legal assistant or junior legal assistant (personal injury experience preferred)
- Sound understanding of TAC and/or WorkCover matters (highly regarded)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident communicator with a professional and empathetic manner
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a team
