About the opportunity

At Mercy Health each moment no matter how small truly matters - and as a Personal Care Assistant youll make a genuine difference when its needed the most by:

Providing quality resident-focused care utilising a person-centred approach and in accordance with care plans Aged Care Standards and policies/procedures of Mercy Health.
Providing accurate and timely documentation relevant to resident care.
Working in consultation with other staff to provide relevant and timely information.

To thrive in this role you will have:

A minimum Certificate III / Cert IV in Aged Care or Individual Support.

Excellent clinical time management organisational and communication skills with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
A compassionate flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.
The ability to nurture friendly respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

You will also be required to provide evidence of or in the process of obtaining:

NDIS clearance
Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
