Summary of Essential Duties

The Director of Information Technology (Systems) is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of Contours information systems and technology infrastructure. This position ensures the stability security and scalability of enterprise-wide IT systems that support the Companys diverse aviation operations including scheduled airline service charter operations maintenance and FBO services.

The Director will lead a high-performing IT team manage vendor and software relationships and ensure compliance with FAA TSA and other regulatory requirements as they relate to technology and data systems. This position requires a balance of strategic vision operational execution and hands-on technical expertise.

The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership communication and problem-solving abilities ensuring that Contours technology environment remains reliable secure and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Advises and consults with other departments on production software issues concerns problems and questions.
• Assist in managing service requests and relationships with ERPs as directed.
• Analyzes proposed and actual projects in terms of the potential benefits of using information systems.
• Prepares long-and short-range plans for application selection software systems development systems maintenance production activities and necessary support resources.
• Plansandrecommendschangestothecapacityoftheoperatingsystemanditsconfiguration.
• Prepares cost estimates for current and proposed projects reflecting the equipment and staff requirements as directed.
• Make analytical decisions and be accountable for all actions made by a department or group.
• Use a high degree of analytical ability by using sound judgment acquired through significant experience to solve complex and varied problems that could result in substantial loss of reputation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership

• Must be at least 23 years of age.
• Bachelors degree in computer science Information Systems or a related field.
• Minimum of 7-years of related experience. Additional years of relevant experience can be substituted for the education requirement on year-for-year basis.
• Must have experience leading an information technology department in a like-sized organization.
• Proficient with MS products suite administration of Azure O365 and Active Directory.
• Strong working knowledge of AWS administration networking NIST cybersecurity practices.
• Development skills for CRM and contact center integrations LMS.
• Experience with cloud-based authentication strategies for SSO.

• Minimum 2 years professional experience with framework and C# proficiency with Core MVC framework working knowledge of API processes experience with GIT or other version control system comfortable with basic front-end development including HTML CSS and JavaScript.
• Working knowledge of ITSM/project management software (ServiceNow Jira etc.); Agile development.
• Aviation IT experience is a plus as well as MCSE and/or CNE certifications.
• Possess polished and professional interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and a customer-oriented mindset.
• Possess strong leadership interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Must have well-developed people skills and ability to work with a variety of personalities.
• Able to coordinate multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Able to handle interruptions and a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work with confidential materials and information.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Maintain strong attention to detail.

• Authorized by law to work in the United States and able to travel in and out of the United States.
• Able to pass a required 10-year work history review and submit to criminal background and fingerprint checks.
• Must understand read and write English.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal delivered with tact and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including OSHA EPA state and federal regulations.
