Teaching Assistant (EYFS & SEND Support) Grade 5 (30 hours)
Plus Breakfast Club Supervisor Grade 3 (7 hours)
Total Hours: 37 per week

Are you a dedicated and compassionate individual with a passion for supporting children to thrive in a nurturing inclusive environment We are seeking an enthusiastic and resilient Teaching Assistant to join our committed team.

This is a dual-role position comprising:

30 hours per week (Grade 5) as a Teaching Assistant working partly within our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and also providing targeted support to a pupil with complex additional needs in Key Stage 1.
7 hours per week (Grade 3) supervising our Breakfast Club starting daily at 7:30am ensuring a warm and structured start to the school day for pupils.

About the Role:

In EYFS you will work closely with teachers to create a supportive learning environment encouraging curiosity independence and early development.
During the rest of the day you will provide consistent one-to-one or small-group support to a pupil with additional needs helping them to access learning and navigate the school day successfully.
You will also work in our Breakfast Club offering a safe and welcoming environment and promoting positive routines before the start of lessons.

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience of working in a primary school setting preferably with EYFS and/or SEND.
Demonstrates empathy patience and adaptability when supporting children with additional needs.
Is able to foster positive relationships with pupils staff and parents.
Is organised proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Holds relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent).
Has paediatric first aid or is willing to undertake training
