Transport Operations Support

Joining CML as Transport Operations Support you will be responsible for providing general administration support to the Transport Department.

Salary: 27618 per annum. 

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off 18:00 to 06:00.

Key Duties of a Transport Operations Support Clerk:

• Correctly debrief drivers
• Checking all timesheets for correct completion and ensuring all PODs are returned completed correctly
• Scanning and storing PODs using Culinas document management system
• Preparing drivers wallets and issuing delivery notes in drop sequence plus any other relevant delivery information
• Printing all despatch notes and replenishing despatch paper as required
• Answering the telephone and assisting with any enquiries
• Downloading drivers cards / tachographs
• Ensuring all estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) are communicated to Customer Services
• Consistently updating all spreadsheets including but not limited to; change-overs run summaries and trailer check sheets
• Departing & Completing of loads using Transport Management System (TMS)
• Ensuring all uplifts are despatched in correct loads
• Ensure all trailers are tracked
