The Tulane University School of Medicine is seeking to appoint a part-time adjunct faculty position in the Department of Medicine within the Tulane Research Innovation for Arrhythmia Discovery (TRIAD) section. This role supports strategic research and educational collaborations in the field of computational cardiology with an emphasis on systems modeling data-driven simulation and translational electrophysiology.
This appointment is a non-tenure track 20% effort position designed to foster interdisciplinary collaboration between TRIAD and external research institutions. This position will contribute in a hybrid capacity with approximately one day per week of in-person engagement.
Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering Computational Biology Applied Mathematics or a related field.
Established expertise in cardiac modeling and simulation with a track record of high-impact publications.
Experience mentoring early-career investigators in research settings.
Familiarity with translational research and U.S. federal funding mechanisms (e.g. NIH).
