The Division of Research & Enterprise leads UNSWs strategic research direction and our Research Analysis Data and Reporting (RADAR) team plays a critical role in shaping research performance and global reputation.

Were seeking a Senior Insights Analyst to lead data submissions to global university rankings deliver complex analytics on research performance and funding and provide insights that drive strategic decision-making. Youll work with tools such as SQL Python Tableau Power BI and Excel to develop reports streamline processes and communicate findings in clear impactful ways.

Who you are

You have a relevant tertiary qualification and or experience in data analysis and management as well as the following Skills and Experience:

Ideally an understanding of research administration rankings and reporting requirements within Higher Education
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective and constructive working relationships with colleagues; and to clearly convey ideas and information in a professional manner through presentations written communication and other means.
A strong track record in managing analytical tasks business processes analysing business needs synthesizing results and delivering reports.
Extensive experience in data analysis data visualisations and reporting using a variety of tools and applications (e.g. Excel Postgres Tableau Microsoft Power BI Python SQL UiPath).
An understanding of and commitment to UNSWs aims objectives and values in action together with relevant policies and guidelines.
Knowledge of health & safety (psychosocial and physical) responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant health and safety training.
