The Computer Repair Technician performs specialized technical work in the repair and maintenance of various electronic devices such as computers laptops monitors disk drives projectors and printers to support for both administrative and instructional staff. Work involves using specialized testing devices and maintenance documentation to determine malfunctions; repairing computer equipment; assembling devices and installing electronic components. Work requires lifting and moving computer hardware. Adheres to all the Educational Technology procedures relating to software installation equipment inventory backup plan and the numerous other procedures defined by the Educational Technology Department. Qualifications: Associates degree preferred or Technical School diploma in information systems or equivalent. A certification or equivalent field experience. Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience which includes network and Microsoft products including Office degrees/certifications encouraged. Salary:$61076 - $85422 based on the Shawsheen Teachers Association Unit C salary scale. Placement will be based on experience and education.
