This is a full-time academic year (9 month) in-person teaching academic staff position in nursing. The position is primarily responsible for teaching academic courses for nursing students enrolled in the UWSP RN to BSN Completion program and the University of Wisconsin Collaborative online program. Excellence in teaching professional development and service are required for retention and promotion. The successful candidate will also participate in activities related to: maintaining Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accreditation; working collaboratively with partners; engaging in assessment; pursuing curricular improvements; advising nursing students and preparing academic plans. Additional responsibilities of this position include engaging in Nursing Program and School of Health Sciences and Wellness and university activities participating in student recruitment efforts and maintaining RN licensure and appropriate membership in progressional organizations.

$58000 annually minimum based on qualifications and experience
Registered nurse license in the State of Wisconsin or eligible to obtain Wisconsin nursing license by November 1 2025
Doctorate of Nurse Practice (DNP) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills
Higher education teaching experiences in nursing
Online teaching experience
Minimum of 3 years working as an RN in a clinical setting
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Attentive to detail and strong record-keeping and data management skills Demonstrated use of technology
