Job Summary

  • Supervise and manage daily accounts payable operations
  • Manage vendor relationships including vendor onboarding issue resolution statement reconciliation and communication of payment status
  • Collaborate with operations and accounting teams to ensure accuracy in cost allocations and project coding
  • Supervise train and mentor A/P staff; promote professional development
  • Maintain internal controls to prevent fraud and ensure compliance with SOX and company policies
  • Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
  • Support approval authority delegation changes and sign-offs
  • Identify and assist with process automation or system enhancements to improve efficiency

  • 8 years accounts payable experience
  • 4 years supervisory experience
  • Upstream exploration & production experience preferred
  • High school diploma or GED required. Associates degree preferred.
  • Self-motivated with proven leadership skills team player comfortable working under pressure and dedicated to team development.

Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
