Job Summary
- Supervise and manage daily accounts payable operations
- Manage vendor relationships including vendor onboarding issue resolution statement reconciliation and communication of payment status
- Collaborate with operations and accounting teams to ensure accuracy in cost allocations and project coding
- Supervise train and mentor A/P staff; promote professional development
- Maintain internal controls to prevent fraud and ensure compliance with SOX and company policies
- Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
- Support approval authority delegation changes and sign-offs
- Identify and assist with process automation or system enhancements to improve efficiency
- 8 years accounts payable experience
- 4 years supervisory experience
- Upstream exploration & production experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED required. Associates degree preferred.
- Self-motivated with proven leadership skills team player comfortable working under pressure and dedicated to team development.
Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
