Position: Construction & Design Associate

Overview:
Our client a leading national law firm is seeking an Associate with 2-3 years of construction law litigation or government contracting experience to join its Construction & Design Practice Group in Seattle. The group represents public and private owners general contractors and engineers across a wide range of projects providing counsel from pre-project planning and risk assessment through contract drafting claims management and dispute resolution.
Key Responsibilities:

Advise clients on construction and design-related legal issues across diverse projects

Draft negotiate and manage complex construction and engineering contracts
-
Handle claims management risk mitigation and dispute preservation
-
Represent clients in litigation and dispute resolution proceedings
Qualifications:

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
-
2-3 years of experience in construction law litigation or government contracting
-
Washington Bar admission required
-
Strong drafting communication and analytical skills
