Position Overview
The Logistics Coordinator Solar is responsible for managing maintaining and overseeing daily operations associated with owner-supplied materials-including modules inverters and batteries-on assigned FPL/NEER solar construction projects. This role ensures materials are tracked accurately delivered safely and integrated into site operations efficiently. The Logistics Coordinator supports construction progress by maintaining strong communication with vendors EPC partners site teams and internal stakeholders while upholding safety quality and schedule adherence standards.
Preferred Background
- Construction and materials background OR 2 3 years of experience in a similar logistics role.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2 years of relevant work experience in construction logistics or material coordination.
- 2 years experience using Unifier or other reporting/data management systems.
- Experience serving as a team lead or overseeing small teams (up to 5 people).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Outlook Word PowerPoint etc.).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interpret schedules plan ahead and identify impacts to material flow.
- Detail-oriented with strong reporting documentation and record-keeping capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Operations
- Record all module inverter and battery deliveries and upload data accurately into Unifier and Daily Tracker systems.
- Meet delivery drivers collect Bills of Lading (BOLs) sign/date documents and upload to Unifier daily.
- Utilize multiple reporting platforms to maintain accurate daily and weekly data:
- Unifier uploads
- Daily Tracker
- Weekly Logistics Coordinator Report
- Identify and communicate potential delays related to weather equipment staffing or vendor schedule changes.
Logistics Management
- Oversee multiple phases of material logistics including:
- Module inverter and battery deliveries
- CSV uploads and error reconciliation with ISC
- BOL uploads with supporting photos for delivery documentation and damage reporting
- Support damaged module assessments damage validation and warranty claim processes.
- Coordinate recycling efforts including obtaining quotes and scheduling pickup services.
Stakeholder Communication & Coordination
- Maintain effective communication with ISC EPC partners site teams safety teams SMC PM RM and other internal groups.
- Communicate site delivery rules offload processes recovery plans and SOPs with all stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors contractors and internal partners.
Safety & Compliance
- Uphold and enforce site safety standards and PPE requirements.
- Ensure compliance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Provide weekly logistics reports and maintain ongoing transparency with project teams.
