Job Duties:

Facilitates classroom online and/or laboratory instruction and assists with instructional development and design for a single course or series of courses within an academic discipline to support the delivery of quality instruction. Provides for-credit instruction in formats such as classroom online and/or laboratory settings including grading. Serves as an instructor of record.

  • Facilitates classroom online and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses including assessment of student performance
  • Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction
  • Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations

Department: Mathematics and Computer Science

60% -100% FTE Instructional Academic Staff Spring Semester 2026 with opportunity for renewal one vacancy

Job Responsibilities:

  • Teach mathematics courses as assigned by the department chair.
  • Attend and contribute to regular department meetings.
  • Facilitates classroom online and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses including assessment of student performance.
  • Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction.
  • Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations.

Other Duties:

  • Complete required trainings and professional development as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in mathematics computer science or closely related field

This position is currently ineligible for H1-B sponsorship. A qualification for this position includes independent eligibility to work within the United States upon hire date.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Able to teach 100 and 200 level mathematics courses
  • Able to teach entry level computer science courses (given time to prepare)

Compensation: The full-time annual salary for this position is $43073 pro-rated based on the percentage of full-time equivalency. For a summary of benefits please see:
