Hourly Compensations: $17.00

The School Custodian performs general cleaning duties in designated areas at a K-12 school college or university campus environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior customer service experience

One (1) year of prior similar work experience.

Responsibilities:

Essential Functions

ABM a leading provider of integrated facility solutions is looking for a Floor Tech. Experience is required!

The Floor Tech is responsible for cleaning and maintaining carpet and hard surface floors including stripping scrubbing buffing waxing refinishing sealing and spot cleaning. Also responsible for using safety measures in work areas. Duties also include assisting the Building/Account Lead with special projects including but not limited to setups breakdowns move in/ move outs). Willing to complete other duties as assigned

Responsibilities:

Cleans building floors by sweeping mopping scrubbing or vacuuming them. Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
Sometimes using ladders dusts and washes furniture walls machines and equipment; cleans ceilings and dusts and polishes light fixtures. Washes and replaces blinds
Mixes water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications
Strips seals finishes and polishes floors
Cleans and vacuums carpeted areas including application of spot cleaning treatment
