Job Summary

About the Role
A highly successful secondary school in the Worcestershire area is seeking a passionate and committed Science Teacher to join its thriving faculty from January 2026. This is a full-time permanent position teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the possibility of Key Stage 5 depending on experience.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons across Biology Chemistry and Physics helping students to develop curiosity practical understanding and scientific reasoning. You will contribute to curriculum development share best practice within a collaborative team and take part in enrichment activities such as science clubs STEM competitions and educational visits.

Candidate Profile
We are seeking someone who:

  • Holds QTS PGCE or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • Has strong subject knowledge and experience delivering Science to GCSE level (A-Level desirable)
  • Is organised reflective and dedicated to achieving excellent outcomes for students
  • Can build positive relationships and contribute to a collaborative staff culture
  • Has the legal right to work in the UK

Experience in leading practical investigations managing laboratories safely or coordinating STEM projects would be an advantage.
