Position Overview
The Patient Access Manager will oversee all aspects of patient registration scheduling insurance verification and financial counseling. This role is critical to ensuring a seamless patient experience and optimizing revenue cycle performance. You ll lead a team of access specialists implement best practices and collaborate cross-functionally to drive results.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage daily operations of the Patient Access department across multiple service lines
Ensure accurate and timely patient registration insurance verification and authorization processes
Monitor KPIs and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and patient satisfaction
Train mentor and evaluate staff performance; foster a culture of accountability and service excellence
Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Clinical and IT teams to streamline workflows and resolve barriers
Stay current with regulatory requirements payer policies and compliance standards

Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Healthcare Administration Business or related field (Master s preferred)
3 years of leadership experience in patient access or revenue cycle operations
Strong knowledge of EMR systems (e.g. Epic Cerner) and insurance workflows
Proven ability to lead teams manage change and drive performance metrics
Exceptional communication problem-solving and customer service skills
