Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive persuasive and results-oriented Telesales Agent to join our dynamic sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating leads making outbound sales calls managing customer interactions and supporting the sales process from prospecting to post-sale documentation. This role requires a mix of sales acumen customer service and administrative coordination.

Responsibilities;

  • Make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to promote products and services.
  • Deliver scripted sales pitches and tailor communication to fit each customers profile and needs.
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Handle inbound calls to assist with customer inquiries and provide relevant information.
  • Overcome objections negotiate and close sales confidently.
  • Identify and qualify high-quality leads book appointments for Relationship Managers (RMs) and support the conversion process.
  • Follow up on leads generated by Account Managers and maintain an active sales pipeline.
  • Research and develop creative sales propositions tailored to specific industries or sectors.
  • Prepare and send professional quotes proforma invoices and sales proposals to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers to ensure a smooth handover and client onboarding process.
  • Accurately update CRM systems with call logs customer information outcomes and follow-up actions.
  • Prepare and share daily/weekly/monthly sales reports with the Sales Manager.
  • Meet or exceed daily weekly and monthly calls and sales targets
  • Work closely with the sales team to refine strategies share insights and improve overall performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that customer expectations and requirements are met.
  • Attend regular meetings and training sessions to stay informed about product updates market trends and internal processes.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of tender documents as required.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor to support the sales team and overall business goals.


Requirements


  • Minimum of a diploma/bachelor degree or equivalent
  • Proven experience in tele sales telemarketing or inside sales.
  • Strong communication persuasion and negotiation skills.
  • Confident self-motivated and target-driven.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Excellent organizational and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
