Are you a driven and detail-oriented Property Manager looking to take ownership of a high-performing office portfolio
A leading property management company is recruiting an experienced Property Manager to oversee the operations leasing finances and facilities of their commercial office portfolio in Cape Town. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a key leadership role with responsibility for financial performance tenant relationships and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate will bring a blend of financial acumen property knowledge and people management experience someone who thrives in a fast-paced client-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare manage and report on annual budgets income projections and expenditure
- Manage arrears and utility recoveries with the credit controller
- Monitor and report on income statements vacancies and tenant retention
- Work alongside leasing consultants to renew leases and reduce vacancies
- Ensure buildings are maintained to high standards in collaboration with facilities teams
- Handle tenant correspondence and oversee tenant take-ons and exits
- Conduct risk management and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Lead and mentor a small team ensuring consistent performance management
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in property management preferably within commercial portfolios
- Strong knowledge of lease agreements accounting principles and budgeting
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- People management experience with a proven ability to lead teams
- Relevant degree in Property Studies Financial Management or similar
- PPRA status and accreditation essential
- Analytical mindset with strong organisational and negotiation skills
- Able to work independently under pressure and deliver results
