Role Overview


Were looking for a motivated and results-drivenSales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team. As an SDR youll be the first point of contact for potential customers and a key player in our new business development efforts. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and qualify new business opportunities setting the stage for our Account Executives to close deals.

This role requires a hunter mentality someone who thrives on the challenge of building a pipeline from scratch. Youll need to be an excellent communicator a great listener and relentless in your pursuit of new business.


Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Proactively research and identify new business leads and potential customers across various industries.
  • Outbound Prospecting: Conduct high-volume outbound calls emails and social outreach to generate new sales opportunities.
  • Discovery and Qualification: Engage with prospects to understand their waste management needs challenges and pain points. Qualify leads based on our ideal customer profile.
  • Pipeline Management: Accurately track and manage all sales activities and customer information in our CRM (HubSpot).
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales teams to develop and execute targeted outreach campaigns.
  • Intro/Meeting Scheduling: Book qualified introductions and meetings for the Account Managers.
  • Performance: Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified opportunities.


Requirements

  • Proven experience in a sales development or a similar outbound sales role.
  • A hunter mindset with a strong drive to hit and exceed targets.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable making a high volume of cold calls and engaging with new people.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your time effectively.
  • A positive attitude resilient spirit and a passion for learning.
  • Experience with CRM software (HubSpot is a plus).
  • Knowledge of the waste management or logistics industry is a bonus but not required.
