California State University San Marcos (CSUSM) invites applications to apply for a tenure-track position at the level of Assistant Professor in Electrical Engineering. Candidates must be committed to contributing to an undergraduate-centered pedagogically innovative and modern Electrical Engineering degree program. Applications from contemporary areas of research are welcome including Microelectronics Analog and Digital Circuits and Systems and related fields.
Electrical Engineering is among the fastest growing programs at CSUSM with state-of-the-art laboratories ABET accreditation and close relations with local industry. CSUSM values teaching undergraduates and involving them in research. The campus is located on a scenic hillside 15 miles east of the Pacific Ocean and in the San Diego North County region an area known for its temperate climate and growing technology industries. The University recently broke ground on a new 75000sf Integrated Science and Engineering building. The new building will include state of the art Engineering laboratories and is expected to open in 2027. Our campus embraces twenty-first-century learning and the teacher-scholar model.

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $8600- $10100 per month
CSU Classification Salary Range: $6221- $13224 per month
