Job Summary
Were on the hunt for a talented Chef de Partie with a strong a la carte background to join our exceptional kitchen this role youll craft top-quality dishes contribute to exciting menu development and oversee kitchen operations all while playing an important part in ensuring our guests enjoy a remarkable dining experience. Youll mentor junior staff maintain food safety standards and help keep the kitchen running smoothly in a fast-paced high-performance environment.
What youll do:
- Prepare outstanding dishes across various kitchen sections including a la carte buffet larder mise-en-place room service and banquets
- Bring fresh ideas to the table by helping develop new menu items that elevate the guest dining experience
- Lead and mentor junior staff offering training and support to foster their growth
- Apply a range of cooking techniques to deliver consistently exceptional dishes
- Ensure the kitchen remains spotless organized and compliant with food safety standards at all times
- Encourage open communication and collaboration within the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications :
What were looking for:
- Trade qualifications and prior experience in the hotel industry (preferred)
- Extensive experience working with a la carte service
- Solid understanding of food safety requirements
- A service-oriented mindset with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility and the ability to embrace change and adapt quickly
