Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiac Cath Lab provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related interventional procedures. This role requires proficiency in both scrub and circulate functions within the Cath Lab along with strong critical care skills. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented adaptable and experienced in high-acuity cardiac care environments.

Responsibilities:

Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
Perform both scrub and circulate roles as needed.
Monitor patients vital signs and respond to emergencies promptly.
Administer medications and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Provide pre- and post-procedure patient education and support.
Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).

Required Skills & Experience:

Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in Critical Care and Cardiac Cath Lab.
Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy physiology and hemodynamics.
Proven ability to perform both scrub and circulate duties.

Licenses & Certifications:

Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Current BLS certification required.
