About the Role

Ward 11 rehabilitation/transition mental health unit is a 10-bed rehabilitation ward that supports people who are working on their mental health recovery journey. Rehabilitation/sub-acute setting for adults who have a long-term mental illness and co-existing problems.

Ward 11 is entering a period of change and is considering alternative environments. This is a permanent position.

About you

Our ideal candidate will have:

Registration with the Nursing Council of NZ and a current APC with a scope that allows you to practice in mental health
Exceptional communication skills with a non-judgmental manner along with a positive attitude
Additional clinical skills in the areas of physical health and addictions could be a significant advantage
Experience working within an adult mental health environment with rehabilitation experience an advantage.
