Job Title: RN Nurse Educator
Location: Brooklyn NY
Type: Travel / Contract (13 Weeks)
Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:30 AM 4:00 PM (8-hour shifts 40 hours/week)
Pay:
Local: $3000/week
Travel: $3548.50/week
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking RN Nurse Educatorfor an exciting job in Brooklyn NY.
Responsibilities
Conduct nursing orientations in-service sessions and continuing education programs.
Identify staff learning needs and develop evidence-based training materials.
Serve as a clinical resource and mentor promoting high standards of care and patient safety.
Collaborate with nursing leadership to assess competencies and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Support onboarding and ongoing quality improvement initiatives across departments.
Required Qualifications
Licensure: Active and unrestricted RN license in New York State.
Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) or higher from an accredited program.
Certifications: Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience and 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience in an acute care setting.
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher.
Experience: Previous experience in clinical education staff development or as a nurse preceptor.
