We currently have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Development Assessment Planner to join our team.
In this role you will be responsible for the assessment of a wide range of development proposals and subdivision certificates assist with customer enquiries and gain invaluable professional development experience working within a multi-disciplinary assessment team.
While applicants are not expected to have experience presenting to Local Planning Panels State and Regional Planning Panels or Urban Design Review Panels applicants are encouraged to outline any experience or exposure they have had to these Panels within their application. This also applies to any previous experience with the NSW Land and Environment Court appeals and acting as an appointed Town Planning expert for the Court.

Commencing salary:$92765.00 with performance progression up to $107380.00 plus 12% Superannuation.
You will be required to undertake employment checks which may include a Criminal History Check Qualification Check Working with Children Check Medical Declaration and/or a Functional Test as relevant to the position for which you have applied. Where a Criminal History Check is required and has returned a result that indicates disclosable court outcomes you will be required to provide a copy of the report to Penrith City Council for review in order to progress through the recruitment process.
