Job Summary
Job Title: Weld Inspector Sheet Metal 1st Shift
Shift: 1st Shift starting at 6:00 AM
Pay: $18/hour
Type: 90-Day Contract-to-Hire
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Weld Inspector to join our Sheet Metal Department on a 90-day contract-to-hire basis. This role involves inspecting welds on sheet metal components for quality ensuring compliance with specifications and supporting production with accurate documentation. The ideal candidate is thorough reliable and works efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Experience in welding inspection or sheet metal manufacturing preferred
Ability to stand walk and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and measurement skills
Reliable safety-conscious and able to follow procedures precisely
Responsibilities:
Inspect welds on sheet metal components for quality and compliance
Document inspection results accurately
Work closely with production to address welding quality issues
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety protocols and quality standards
