The right candidate will have a strong service technician background with Ford certifications and/or equivalent work experience ASE certifications are a plus. The day-to-day duties include but are not limited to diagnosis and repair of Ford branded vehicles both large and small.

Responsibilities
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with both Ford and Dealership policies.
Manufacturer specific diagnostic tools and equipment to be utilized for system and subsystem operating performance.
Utilize your experience and skills working with complex Ford systems including engine transmission electrical steering suspension brakes air conditioning etc.
Rather specialize in a category or two We do customized technician schedules which allow for Ford category specialist adherence and promotes work flow.
Communicate directly with the Service Advisors so that customers are informed accurately for progress and of any additional service is needed.
Provide estimated time needed for diagnostics and repairs to maintain production schedule as a whole.
Execute all repairs to manufacturer specifications and documentation requirements
Qualifications
3 years of Service Technician experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required
ASE Certification suggested and considered
Ford Certifications a plus and required to be working towards if hired. Other OE brand certifications considered for conversion.
Previous experience at a Ford dealership is preferred. Other OE brand dealership experience considered.
B level qualifications or greater desired. Including Diagnostic principles Electrical systems and all other categories of the vehicle.
Dexterity requiring a steady hand excellent hand-eye coordination
Mechanical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to operate diagnostic equipment
Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
Positive friendly attitude along with an eagerness to improve
Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively
Ability to learn new technology repair and service procedures
Maintain Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Background check required prior to hiring
- Clear Pre-Screen drug testing per Washington State guidelines required prior to hiring
