SUMMARY The Warehouse Receiving Associate maintains inventory and supplies by receiving storing cycle counting and delivering items to production. Associates are also responsible for the general organization of the warehouse. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. - Inventory Management Primary Responsibilities
- Inventory accuracy control and manage inventory
- Two full physical inventories per year
- Monthly Cycle counts
- Manually receive inventory deliveries including Primary Responsibilities
- Opening and unpacking inventory deliveries accurate receiving of items
- Assigning part locations and labeling
- Verifying and recording inventory quantities on the companys information system physically moving inventory to the warehouse
- Scanning & filling vendor/receiving paperwork
- Receive cab & chassis/move around the yard
- Receive tanks/set tanks on chassis
- Maintain an orderly warehouse including Primary Responsibilities
- Proper labeling of inventory shelves
- Creating new inventory locations on the company system as required
- Keeping warehouse organized and in a clean state
- Issue inventory to the shop floor (pick to carts) including Secondary Responsibilities
- Use I-Pad as picklist
- Identifying items to pick from shelf by scanning
- Pull truck/work order with accuracy and in an organized fashion
- Communicate inventory issues to Warehouse Manager
- Identifying shortages and expediting fulfillment by contacting materials manager
- Stay ahead of production at least 48 hours
- Issue chassis and tanks
- Shipping inventory to Customers and our Ohio operation including - Secondary Responsibilities
- Using UPS Worldwide Ship for non-freight shipment
- Packing items in a manor so they will not get broken during transit

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE SKILLS ABILITIES include but are not limited to the following. - Must have a working knowledge and understanding of manufacturing warehouse and stock control methods procedures equipment and terminology.
- Must have experience managing and counting inventory.
- Must have experience using computer software including warehouse/inventory software internet and email.
- Must be able to safely operate a forklift and/or other assigned vehicles and equipment.
- Must have a working knowledge and understanding of safety requirements and practice them.
- Must have the ability to work efficiently with all departments communicating effectively both orally and in writing.
- Must have good time management planning organization and prioritization skills.
- Must be able to work assigned shifts arriving on time and abiding by all attendance policies.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position has no supervisory responsibilities. TRAVEL This position does not travel. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE - High School diploma GED or equivalent work experience.
- At least three years of warehouse or related industry work experience w/ heavy focus on receiving put aways and cycle counting.
- At least one year of Forklift Reach Truck Cherry Picker experience.
CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS A valid drivers license is required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS. - Work is performed while standing sitting and/or walking.
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech vision and hearing.
- Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
- Requires bending squatting crawling climbing and reaching.
- Requires the ability to lift carry push or pull medium weights up to 75 pounds.
- Requires activities involving being around moving machinery exposure to changes in temperature and humidity and exposure to dust fumes and gases

The work hours for this position will be Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud consisting of normal vehicle shop equipment and activities. Employees work inside a building that is not a climate-controlled environment. Employees are exposed to outside weather conditions while receiving shipments and picking certain parts.
