Job Summary

Annual Compensation Range: $50000-$56000

Responsibilities:

Ensure accurate efficient and safe handling of merchandise during receiving storage and shipping
Receive offload sort store and retrieve product per regulations
Maintain the work area and follow all safety requirements
Log incoming and outgoing packages with use of the ERP system
Collaborate and communicate with all SST departments to ensure proper flow of incoming materials and devices
Inspect various safety equipment and fire extinguishers on a routine basis
Assist in the shipping department as needed
Maintain inventory levels place inventory order as needed complete weekly inventory count

Skills & Requirements:

High School diploma or GED required
Current valid drivers license
Warehouse shipping & receiving experience preferred but not required
Excellent documentation skills
Interest in working for a small company; warehouse is under 2000 sqft.
Willing to be trained in handling dangerous goods to assist with packing materials
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and problem solving
Comfortable working on a computer and have basic computer skills
Must be an independent worker and self-starter capable of managing issues within the normal course and scope of the position with limited supervision
Flexible team player with a service orientation and a can-do attitude

Work Environment:
Physical requirements are those that could be reasonably anticipated given the job duties and work environment. Exposure to hazardous chemicals in certain areas of the office. Must wear required personal protective equipment while demonstrating safe working practices.

Physical Requirements
Physical Demands-Stooping turning bending squatting kneeling and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds; constant/repetitive standing; requires normal correctable vision and hearing and the ability to accurately discern color as necessary to perform job functions.
