About the Role
Are you ready to lead and manage complex operations across multiple sites in regional NSW Were seeking an experienced and dynamic Cluster Manager to oversee Eastern cluster.

As a Cluster Manager you will play a pivotal role in managing the physical financial and human resources across several departmental sites. Youll ensure the efficient delivery of services that support agricultural research biosecurity and regional development programs. Your leadership will directly contribute to the sustainability and success of NSWs primary industries.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing budgets maintenance plans and capital development across sites.
  • Managing farm office and maintenance staff including performance and training.
  • Ensuring facilities infrastructure equipment and livestock are maintained and utilised effectively.
  • Leading WHS initiatives and ensuring compliance with departmental standards.
  • Providing expert advice and reporting on operations and resource management.

Youll work closely with internal stakeholders including Centre Directors Branch Directors and site staff as well as external contractors and suppliers to ensure seamless service delivery and operational excellence.

About You

Youre a strategic and hands-on leader with a passion for regional development and agricultural innovation. You thrive in complex environments and are confident managing diverse teams and resources across multiple locations.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in business agriculture science or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of public sector financial management practices and policies.
  • Proven experience in project management people leadership and operational oversight.
  • A valid drivers licence and willingness to travel regularly across regional NSW.
  • A commitment to integrity collaboration and customer service.
