Those in information security at PwC will focus on protecting sensitive data and systems from cyber threats through risk assessments security audits and implementing robust security measures. This role involves developing data solutions conducting quality checks and collaborating with team members to ensure accurate and reliable data delivery. Our Data Governance team focuses on helping our clients implement an effective data governance program that protects against threats propels data-driven transformation and drives growth

Our team helps organizations safeguard critical assets by identifying prioritizing and protecting sensitive or high value business joining youll focus on ensuring the effective and efficient use of information in enabling an organization to achieve its goals.

As a Senior Associate you will work as part of a team of problem solvers helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge and experience with at least one major data governance enterprise platform (e.g. Collibra Alation or Informatica)

  • Extensive knowledge and experience with data analysis and enterprise metadata management especially in the context of Data Lifecycle use cases;

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.

  • Use feedback and reflection to develop self-awareness personal strengths and address development areas.

  • Experience deploying data lineage and data flow inventory solutions;

  • Demonstrated experience implementing structured data archiving and data lifecycle management activities;

  • Background in DCAM or related data governance frameworks;

  • Managing teams implementing Data Governance tools with a complex business environment through requirements gathering building testing and production roll-out;

  • Demonstrating experience leading Data Governance projects to define strategy and roadmap operating model policies/standards and tool design and process documents;

  • Identifying and addressing client needs and building solid relationships with clients;

  • Contributing to project planning engagement administration budget management and the successful
    completion of engagement work streams.

  • Collaborating with business development teams responsible for writing and presenting proposals to prospective clients;

  • Contributing to business development opportunities and/or engagements from pre-sales and initial scoping
    through final delivery and sign-off; and

  • Demonstrated documentation and presentation skills.

  • Understanding of information governance and data lifecycle management including retention management.

  • Strong knowledge and experience with overall data architecture profiling quality metadata management
    etc.; and

  • Leading evaluation of new solutions and services providing a business case on whether the firm should develop skills and vendor relations within new Data Governance solutions and technologies.

  • Apply data governance concepts including:

  • Data cataloging (maintaining accurate business and technical metadata).

  • Data lineage (tracking data movement and transformations).

  • Data stewardship practices (ensuring accountability and ownership of data assets).
