Overview Wells Fargo is seeking an Intern Analyst within Enterprise Risk team covering Canada and Latin America. The focus of this Intern will be to assist the Americas Risk team with a variety of functions including reporting analysis governance administration and enterprise risk management program support. This will include the coordination of management reporting and data analysis along with assisting in the roll-out of strategic initiatives across the area. The role will be exposed to all enterprise risk types and will assist in risk oversight and governance activities for the lines of business operating in Canada and Latin America as well as interact with regional senior management and other risk and business partners.

In this role you will:

  • Assist the Americas Regional Risk team with a range of projects and initiatives including but not limited to: reporting and data analysis records management process risk and control assessments key governance routines model onboarding governance administration and policy and procedure development

  • Leverage technology to simplify internal processes and create efficiencies

  • Participate in the development of strategies focusing on risk identification mitigation and remediation of regulatory issues to ensure robust and forward-looking action plans

  • Assist in the development of online user-friendly dashboards that overlay and analyze metrics to provide commentary and interactive visualizations for risk mitigation and oversight.

  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across risk and business functions to coordinate and manage inputs to develop comprehensive documents/project plans related to key strategic risk initiatives and enterprise-wide programs

  • Assist in the development and reporting of key risk commentary metrics and management information packs for senior level risk forums and committees

  • Provide support in the management and administration of specific risk type forums including operational risk and model risk governance

  • Assist in the tracking and follow up of key action items and deliverables across different risk forums

  • Help enhance communication channels and contribute to best practice sharing across non-US regional risk teams

  • Duties and responsibilities may change throughout the term as determined by management

Internship dates: June/July 2026 to June/July 2027

Internship duration: 12-months non-rotational

Work location: Toronto downtown office

Job expectations: Hybrid work environment (3 days in Toronto office 2 days remote)

Required Qualifications:

  • 6 months of work experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience training military experience education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree candidate with an expected graduation in December 2027 OR May/June 2028 in Business/Commerce degree with strong academic achievement

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Capacity to manage multiple concurrent projects

  • Maintain effective communication with a wide range of stakeholders

  • Project management and/or governance administrative skills

  • Ability to work in a matrixed and performance-based organization

  • Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel Word and PowerPoint

  • Strong data visualization skills including development experience with Power BI

  • High attention to detail accuracy and deadlines

  • Self-starter and a willingness to be proactive and take initiative

  • Team Player with the ability to quickly adapt to a change
