Radiologic Technologist (Night Shift) - Location: San Angelo TX 76903

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiologic Technologist to join our night shift team. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality radiologic exams in a timely efficient manner while ensuring patient comfort and safety. This position requires a professional who can work independently handle emergency situations calmly and deliver exceptional patient care during overnight hours.
Essential Functions:
- Perform high-quality radiologic procedures according to exam protocols.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of imaging studies.
- Understand and adhere to radiation dose reference levels and appropriate monitoring.
- Respond appropriately when dose thresholds are exceeded including patient follow-up when necessary.
- Use AIDET communication framework to engage with patients effectively and ensure accurate identification and procedure.
- Prepare patients for procedures: positioning immobilization and setting equipment parameters.
- Follow all safety infection control and radiation protection protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of equipment and work area.
- Report equipment issues or patient safety concerns to the appropriate parties.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of supplies.

Qualifications:
- Certification/License:
- ARRT-R (Radiography) certification required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (required; must be current)
- New graduates accepted
