Location: McKinney TX 75071

Schedule: 12-hr Nights 7 PM - 7 AM

Job Type: Permanent Full-Time

Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)

Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Job Summary:

The MRI Technologist under the general supervision of a Radiologist performs magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures on both ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by a physician or other licensed provider. The technologist ensures the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging for the diagnosis of disease and injury in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images.
Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
Monitor patients during scans to ensure safety and comfort.
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient care.
Follow established protocols for image quality and radiation safety.
Perform routine equipment checks and maintenance as required.

Qualifications:

Education:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of hospital-based MRI experience required.

Licensure/Certifications:

ARRT (R) American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography
ARRT (MR) ARRT Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging
ARMRIT American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists
