Location: Utica NY 13502

Duration: 13-week Contract

Shift: 12-hr Night Shift 6:30 PM 7:00 AM

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Weekly Pay: $2232 - $2412; Based on experience (Negotiable)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Emergency Department RN for a night shift position in a fast-paced hospital setting in Utica NY. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of recent experience in a high-volume ED including care for pediatric patients. The RN must demonstrate sound clinical judgment strong communication skills and the ability to adapt quickly in high-stress environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver patient-centered nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Department
Triage assess and treat patients of all ages presenting with a variety of acute medical conditions and trauma
Collaborate with physicians other RNs and interdisciplinary staff to ensure high-quality care
Administer medications perform interventions and provide emergency support
Accurately document patient care in the EPIC EMR system
Comply with hospital protocols safety standards and infection control guidelines
Float to other units as needed within scope of practice

Required Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum 2 years of ED experience with recent pediatric exposure
Licensure: Active New York RN License (and all other active RN licenses documented)
Certifications (Current & Required):
- AHA BLS
- AHA ACLS
- AHA PALS
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
Proficiency in EPIC EMR system (required).
Strong clinical skills adaptability and excellent communication.
