Our client a well established digital services provider within the iGaming sector is seeking to recruit a HR Generalist on Reduced hours.
The HR Generalist is responsible for managing day-to-day administrative and HR operations. This role ensures smooth office operations supports HR functions such as recruitment onboarding and employee relations and assists with administrative tasks including facility management travel arrangements and record keeping.
Tasks
- Prepare HR documents such as employment contracts letters HR-related documentation.
- Maintain and update employee records and documents with full confidentiality.
- Conduct onboarding and orientation for new hires.
- Oversee offboarding processes.
- Monitor Employee vacation and sick leave records.
- Maintain up to date knowledge on Employment Law.
- Coordinate foreign employees work permits and renewals.
- Maintain positive employee relations.
- Act as a first point of contact for employee queries related but not limited to policies and general HR matters.
- Coordinate the Recruitment process including but not limited to job posting and scheduling interviews and liaising with external recruiter.
- Processing of Payroll.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are followed and updated as needed.
- Escalate employee grievances and coordinate resolution with HR Management.
- Provide support to the HR team with ad hoc administrative tasks as required and ensuring continuity of HR operations during staff absences.
- Greet employees and visitors with a welcoming positive and helpful attitude.
- Assist Office Manager where necessary.
- Coordinate travel arrangements.
- Support in organizing company events.
Requirements
- Degree in Psychology Sociology or simlar would be preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of HR experience in Malta
- Familiarity with HRIS systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
- Fluency in Maltese would be considered a plus.
