Job Summary
Job Summary (Sr. Backend QA Engineer):
- Design and execute comprehensive test strategies plans and cases for backend and big data systems.
- Perform database and ETL testing including running queries managing large data sets and optimizing database performance.
- Write and optimize complex SQL scripts for data validation and backend testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve DB performance in enterprise-class applications.
- Utilize coding skills (preferably Python) to support test automation and scripting tasks.
- Apply knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies QA best practices and defect management systems.
- Develop maintain and enhance automation frameworks to improve test coverage and efficiency.
- Establish and enforce quality standards keeping up with the latest testing technologies and trends.
- Identify assess and mitigate project risks escalating issues as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders demonstrating strong analytical and documentation skills.
