JOB TITLE: Manufacturing Planner 3 - Electrical/Electronics
LOCATION: Huntsville AL
PAY RATE: $40-50/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

• Clearance: Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

• Work Schedule: Full-time 4x10 (Mon Thurs); A Shift: 6 AM 4:30 PM B Shift: 4 PM 2 AM (starts training on A Shift); shift times may vary by 1 hour.

Summary:

• Develop implement and maintain manufacturing plans BOMs and work instructions.

• Assist in the integration of suppliers processes materials data and technology to meet production and delivery requirements.

• Review supplier data to ensure compliance with manufacturing standards.

• Identify tooling needs initiate tooling orders and assist in tooling disposition activities.

• Investigate and resolve manufacturing issues related to process quality or design.

• Support reproducibility assessments for part or product designs.

• Contribute input to improve design manufacturing processes and technologies for cost and schedule optimization.

• Develop work statements and sequence of events to support production schedules.

• Review maintain and monitor internal documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Requirements:

• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

• Typically requires an Associate degree and 3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelors 1 year or 5 years of direct experience).

• Level 3: 4 years of related experience or equivalent technical education and experience.

• 4 years of experience in manufacturing planning and production support.

• Proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools.

• Experience reading interpreting and enforcing standardized manufacturing processes work instructions and engineering drawings.

• Strong problem-solving communication and project management skills.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree in a STEM-related field.

• Experience in Model-Based Design and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

• Experience using MESci or similar manufacturing systems.

• Familiarity with Material Resource Planning (MRP) systems (e.g. CompassContract).

• Experience in Windchill or similar engineering data management systems.

• Strong collaboration and communication abilities with the skill to present technical concepts effectively to various audiences.
