Job Summary
Job Title: Assembler I - Rework (SLC)
Location: Salt Lake City UT 84123
Duration: 12 Months
Schedule: Mon-Fri 6:00AM-2:30PM OR 8:00AM-5:00PM
Summary:
- Visual inspection and rework of product returned through quality inspection.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Keep work area clean.
- Perform repetitive hand and wrist movements to manually assemble small parts using hand tools fixtures and/or equipment.
- Perform tasks with the assistance of microscopes.
- Perform functional product testing as required.
- Document the quantity of parts inspected.
- Weigh count package and label finished product.
- Perform simple operation involves a repetitive simple task typically with a single step.
Knowledge Skills & Qualifications
- Able to read and understand procedures.
- Able to perform quality checks looking for defects such as splits flash loose debris and the ability to discern letters or numbers at a given distance.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 0-6 months experience.
Travel Requirements
- Typically requires travel less than 5******** of the time.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
- This job operates in a clean room environment.
- While performing the duties of this job the employee may be required to sit or stand for the duration of the shift.
- Must be able to repetitively move and lift objects of up to 20 lbs.
- Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements.
- Will Use solvents glue or solder.
