Position: Sr. Formulation Technician / Manufacturing Operator I
Location: Middletown VA - 22645
Duration: 9 Months

Shift Timings: Monday to Friday from 03:00 PM to 11:30 PM
Summary
This site manufactures in vitro diagnostic reagents controls and calibrators used with clinical diagnostic instrumentation. Colleagues in this role contribute by operating and maintaining production equipment to ensure smooth manufacturing processes while adhering to GMP ISO 13485 guidelines and company SOPs.
Responsibilities
- Operate maintain and troubleshoot all production equipment to prevent or correct mechanical breakdowns.
- Set up Work Centers in a timely and organized manner and tear down Work Centers when Work Orders are complete.
- Troubleshoot machine issues and make necessary adjustments.
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
- Perform filling labeling and/or packaging of products alone or with other technicians.
- Follow proper GDP practices.
- Take apart machines and equipment as needed.
- Efficiently and safely operate machinery perform simple maintenance and make adjustments when necessary.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of one year of manufacturing experience.
- Proven ability to follow policies procedures instructions and meet project timelines consistently and independently.
- Ability to multi-task prioritize plan and forecast multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work in a team environment and influence others to achieve results.
- Self-motivated with a bias for action.
- Strong follow-up and organizational skills.
- Knowledge and adherence to GMP ISO 13485 guidelines company SOPs and proper GDP practices.
- Mechanical aptitude to take apart machines and perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance.
