We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Brand Manager to lead brand strategy growth and market presence within the FMCG sector. The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in liquor distribution and brand management combined with strong commercial acumen and leadership skills to drive impactful brand performance across the Kenyan market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement brand strategies and marketing plans aligned with business objectives.
- Drive brand growth visibility and market share through innovative campaigns and initiatives.
- Oversee execution of trade marketing and promotional activities in collaboration with the sales team.
- Manage relationships with distributors retail partners and key stakeholders in the liquor sector.
- Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and risks.
- Monitor brand performance KPIs (sales market share ROI) and present actionable insights to senior management.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with sales operations and finance to ensure brand objectives are met.
- Manage budgets effectively ensuring cost-efficient and high-impact marketing activities.
- Provide leadership mentorship and support to the brand/marketing team.
Qualifications & Experience
- Must be Kenyan.
- Bachelors degree in marketing Business or a related field.
- Proven experience in FMCG brand management with a strong preference for candidates with liquor distribution experience.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent commercial acumen and ability to translate market insights into strategic action.
- In-depth knowledge of the Kenyan market consumer trends and distribution channels.
