Job Description: Head of IT Service Delivery

Location: Cape Town South Africa

Job Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the IT Service Delivery to ensure alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
Develop and implement IT service delivery strategies that enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Oversee the planning delivery and support of IT services ensuring that they meet quality and performance standards.
Manage client relationships acting as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders.
Coordinate the onboarding process for new IT services ensuring seamless integration and user adoption.
Establish and enforce IT policies and procedures that align with industry best practices.
Monitor and report on the performance of IT services identifying areas for improvement and innovation.
Manage budgets forecasts and resource allocations to ensure practical solutions to client needs.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement among team members and stakeholders.
Collaborate with IT leadership to align service delivery objectives with organizational goals.

Essential Qualifications:

Proven leadership experience in IT service delivery preferably within a corporate environment.
Strong understanding of ITIL or other relevant frameworks for service management.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on client management.

Desired Experience:

A minimum of 7 years and a maximum of 15 years of experience in IT service delivery or related roles.
Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale IT projects and services.
Track record of managing a diverse team and driving performance metrics.
Experience in strategic planning and execution in the IT service delivery space.
