Job Summary

Our client in the global professional services industry is looking for a Senior Experience Designer to join a transformational initiative reshaping the digital landscape of Africa. The role supports a leading Pan-African telecommunications company in building a Software Engineering Centre of Excellence (COE) focused on creating innovative future-ready digital products that empower users and drive technological progress across the continent.
What you will do:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify user needs design goals and product requirements.
- Develop user personas user journeys wireframes and prototypes to guide design decisions and validate user flows.
- Design user interfaces and visual assets aligned with brand guidelines to enhance user experience.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to refine and optimize designs.
- Partner with developers to ensure design fidelity and seamless implementation.
- Stay informed on emerging industry trends and best practices in UX/UI design.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of design systems style guides and design patterns.
Qualifications :
- Matric required.
- 810 years of industry experience in UX/UI or related fields.
- Degree or Diploma in Interaction Design Graphic Design Industrial Design Information Systems Informatics Human-Computer Interaction or a related discipline.
- Certified Usability Analyst (CUA) or equivalent certification desirable.
- Masters degree in Psychology or Social Sciences advantageous.
- Proficient in UX/UI design tools including Figma Axure Zeplin and SketchUp.
- Skilled in JavaScript user testing and research methodologies.
