Job Description

This role will be based in New York City or San Francisco.

In this role you will lead a team of front-line Global Client Executives and Senior/Lead Client Solutions Managers responsible for managing key client relationships and delivering impactful marketing and advertising solutions to our largest global customers. Your team is responsible for managing key client relationships driving incremental revenue and collaborating with regional and cross-functional partners. As Senior Sales Manager you will coach and inspire your team to demonstrate the value we deliver to clients. Youll play a critical role in shaping business outcomes by fostering excellence in leadership driving collaboration across internal teams ensuring scalable growth and surfacing insights that help refine client and market addition to team leadership you will develop senior to C-level relationships with your teams customers and their agencies to drive our shared success and work closely with our GTM Operations and Global Leadership teams on business planning and investment forecasting. This role reports to the Senior Director Global Strategic Accounts.

Responsibilities:  
  
Invest in Team & Talent 

  • Hire lead and inspire a team of Global Client Executives and Senior/Lead Client Solutions Managers: invest in their career development coach and empower your team to achieve high standards and deliver impact for clients and the organization.
  • Proactively manage hiring needs and maintain a pipeline of top diverse talent
  • Provide data-driven open honest and constructive as well as fast feedback when it comes to skill gaps and training and execute effective performance management. 
  • Align team strategy with broader business goals and inspire your tea to deliver it. 
  • Lead your team to have an agile mindset focused on problem-solving through creative solutions and be sturdy enough to thrive in an environment where growth and change are the only constants. 

Lead Operational Excellence 

  • Identify solution design build the business case and execute key initiatives for Strategic Accounts. 
  • Partner with relevant stakeholders to develop and implement your business and your teams account strategy to ensure your market achieves its goals. This includes areas like Segment strategy Quota Setting Leadership Plans and guiding your teams to develop account plans anchored in vision strategy and clearly defined tactics etc. 
  • Where relevant own key relationships with GTM Ops Product Insights Marketing Sales Readiness and other stakeholders to support and influence their cross-functional work.
  • Provide regular business updates to management on team business and customer performance and accurately forecast your revenue 
  • With your team be experts on your customers business including pressures objectives challenges.
  • Be an expert on the components and best practices of LinkedIn Products LinkedIn workflows systems and execution as a foundation for communicating LinkedIns unique value for the customer and the solutions that will help solve their challenges and meet their objectives.   

Drive Relationships & Revenue

  • Inspire your team and cross-functional partners to execute strategies that grow Strategic Accounts and achieve revenue targets.
  • Be a force multiplier to help your team build elevate and lead executive-level client and agency relationships.
  • Stay current on industry trends and competitive landscape to uncover opportunities that drive long-term value for customers. 
  • Shape and lead industry engagement and event strategies. 
  • Ensure your team thinks customer back (and not LinkedIn product out). Focus on delivering customer value customer understanding of the LinkedIn platform and measuring outcomes not optics to drive short- and long-term revenue growth.
  • Identify implement and track the Key Performance Indicators to drive the focus of your team to deliver customer value and revenue growth 
  • Do more with less and think globally to achieve collective goals.

  • Model LinkedIns culture and values fostering awareness across the team through collective interactions and collaboration.

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 10 years of experience in the digital advertising or related industry in sales
  • 6 years of leadership experience including a track record of developing consultative selling strategies for large enterprise organizations 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Proven experience at building and running successful sales organizations 
  • Demonstrated success in managing and growing a portfolio of established mature account relationships 
  • Strong collaborator that works well cross-functionally across the company and externally  
  • Demonstrated ability to lead inspire and work in a rapidly changing environment  
  • A high degree of analytical acumen and demonstrated ability to project and assess the commercial impact of current and proposed sales practices.  
  • Extensive experience working with both agencies and clients to provide world-class customer service.
  • Strong executive presence and experience managing senior stakeholders  
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively to C-level audience; strong presentation and storytelling skills.   
  • Knowledge of sales planning forecasting and CRM tools

Additional Information :

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The pay range for this role is $293000 to $447000 (On target Earnings). Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set years & depth of experience certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
