Are you an experienced Finance Manager with a knack for financial precision and understanding of German tax legislation Due to growth within Pico GmbH we are looking for a part-time Finance Manager to strengthen our financial operations ensuring accuracy compliance and efficiency.
Your role:
In this newly created role as Finance Manager you will be responsible for managing Pico GmbHs financial operations including processing transactions preparing financial reports managing budgets and ensuring compliance with German tax regulations. You will work closely with our UK Finance team to enhance financial controls and support strategic decision-making.
Key responsibilities:
- Process financial transactions and invoices accurately and efficiently
- Ensure financial controls and procedures are in place to maintain financial integrity
- Manage credit control activities monitor outstanding payments and resolve discrepancies
- Collaborate with the UK team on budget development and expenditure monitoring.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports for stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with tax legislation (VAT corporation tax etc.)
- Coordinate with external service providers for auditing tax preparation and other financial services
- Support general office administrative tasks and act as the main contact for financial enquiries from the UK team
What we are looking for:
Essential:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or financial management in a similar role
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written) and familiarity with German tax legislation
- Strong bookkeeping and financial reporting skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and other financial software
- Experience in budget management and financial planning
Desirable:
- Knowledge of statutory accounts and financial audit processes
- Familiarity with financial auditing best practices
