Responsibilities:
- Optimizes ROI for approx. $8-10MM in media spending; identifies and negotiates program integrations.
- Develops the foundational framework and tools for effective media planning and scenario development for the Marketing organization.
- Works with the Brand team and VP of Marketing to understand the organizations marketing objectives target audiences and calls to action.
- Creates a proprietary and documented planning framework that is aligned with addressing those needs.
- Provides leadership to each group within Marketing on most effective and appropriate media and buying strategies (including traditional and emerging media).
- Advises on the relevance and practicality of recommended media strategies / tactics and recommended alternatives given the allocated budget.
- Leads annual and ongoing strategic media planning execution in partnership with agencies of record.
- Ensures high quality and effective media plans. Develops and implements media commitments in partnership with each team (e.g. physician group regional marketing and brand).
- Functions as an in-house expert on traditional and emerging media options planning and implementation.
- Communicates with participating members of the marketing team to ensure all media planning and buying efforts are well coordinated and aligned to business and brand strategy.
- Creates an environment of partnership collaboration seamless quality and service enhancement across the marketing department.

Qualifications :
Required:
- Bachelor of Arts Degree in Marketing Communications or related field.
- 15 years of relevant experience in developing and implementing effective media planning.
- Familiarity with programmatic media trading.
- Experience in a Media Planning role within a complex organization with multiple lines of business.
- Knowledge and experience with non-traditional and emerging media (e.g. internet program integration digital) as well as syndicated media planning tools and systems.
- Experience crafting systems and planning processes for internal and integrated media planning purposes.
- Accurate and detail oriented with exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint.
Preferred:
- Ability to work directly with an Agency Media Department.
