Job Summary
- Receiving Customer samples and recording information in Shipping and receiving Log.
- Conduct Transit and Package Integrity Testing as Per ASTM Standards ISTA standard or per Customer Protocol.
- Add Sample Information to Laboratory Inventory Management System and may include generating a Work Order
- Prepare Test Evidence Report.
- Entry level data review and data reporting following good documentation practices
- Maintain Records of Packaging Testing.
- Monitor and Provide customer support regarding testing services provided.
- Update Customer on test Status updates results.
- Report any Deviation observed to operations Manager.
- Comply with Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and company policies
Qualifications :
- B.S Degree in Engineering Packaging or Packaging Emphasis or High School/Associate Degree with 3-5 years of previous experience in packaging technical experience.
- Production testing or related industry is desired but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Powerpoint) and General Computer Literacy is required.
- Knowledge of ASTM standards is desired.
- Ability to lift bulky items up to 30 lbs climb bend and reach without restriction is required.
Additional Information :
Position is full-time Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Candidates within a commutable distance of San Jose CA are encouraged to apply.
Compensation: 18-25/hr
