REYNOLDS AMERICAN has an exciting opportunity for a Production Engineer Production Engineering Department (G34) in Winston-Salem NC.

In this role you will support plant performance by resolving machinery-related quality losses driving waste-reduction initiatives and supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) activities. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to enhance equipment reliability improve safety and ensure effective reapplication of technical solutions across the manufacturing facility.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Resolving plant-level quality issues related to machinery equipment and production processes.

• Supporting NPI initiatives by conducting technical risk assessments and overseeing machinery-related trial activities.

• Optimizing machine performance partnering with maintenance to reduce downtime and implement equipment modifications.

• Leading waste-reduction actions by analyzing data identifying improvement opportunities and applying best practices across operations.

• Ensuring safety and compliance through technical evaluations and risk assessments of manufacturing equipment.

What are we looking for

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical or Industrial Engineering.

• Experience managing technical challenges and optimizing machinery in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on waste minimization and continuous improvement.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and knowledge of safety standards for industrial equipment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a highly engaged adaptable approach to change.

Beneficial:

• 2 years of experience in a supervisory manufacturing role.

• Strong leadership communication and organizational capabilities.
